This year three of the Saint Louis Park SPARK congregations are continuing a tradition of worship and fellowship together during Lent. However, this year we have created our Lenten experience intentionally around the spirit of the SPARK collaboration. Between Monday night discernment conversations and midweek meals and worship together, we are gathering around the theme of story, specifically exploring the deep connections between God’s story, my story and my neighbors’ story as we contemplate what it means to BE Christian community together. The themes of Why Gather, Why Listen, Why Pray, Why Serve and Why Live in Hope shape each week of Lent. Our hopes as Christian public leaders in our shared community are that we are igniting, nurturing, and spreading thoughtful and faithful imagination around our shared call to love and serve in St. Louis Park.
Our offerings from the Lenten services are going to support STEP, the St. Louis Park Emergency Program. Join us in Supporting our local food shelf!
